Welcome To Korakades, a historic refuge 121 meters above sea level, nestled between the coves of Boukari and Petriti. Our village, mentioned as early as 1652, is said to have been founded by former Saracen pirates who were seeking a safe place with endless views to live a peaceful life, devoted to fishing.

The name, according to tradition, comes from the crows that nested on the hill, giving it an air of mystery. Today, you can wander through the alleys of the old settlement, admire the stone houses that still stand tall, and experience complete tranquility, far from the noise. Korakades is the perfect base for exploring southern Corfu and the charming fish taverns of nearby Petriti.
